Sony Cyber-shot? DSC-T9 Digital Camera Review

The SonyCyber-ShotDSC-T9 The Sony DSC-T9 is the latest in the point-and-shoot “T” model range that combines a stylish, ultra-compact design with high-tech features that deliver amazing results. This Cyber-shot model has 6 megapixel resolution, and the Super SteadyShot system; this system detects any camera movement and adjust to stabilise the lens, which will reduce image blur and camera shake. Higher ISO sensitivity allows shots to be taken indoors, and in low-light conditions without the use of a flash to capture the moment naturally.

This Sony digital camera is fitted with a 3x optical/6x Digital zoom Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens; the zoom works on a clever internal folded-path lens system so the lens does not have to extend out of the body when zooming. Pictures are viewed an a large 2.5-inch LCD screen that introduces Sony’s new Clear Photo technology; this feature gives sharp, vivid colour reproduction when viewing pictures.

A slideshow of shots taken can be viewed in-camera on the LCD screen combined with music, there are four background music tracks to choose from or the option to add your favourite music with the Picture Package Music Transfer software. The T9 comes with 58 megabytes of internal memory and a built-in slot for optional Memory Stick Duo media; you have the option to easily load to a memory stick or upload directly to your computer. For easy hook-up to your PC or TV Sony provide the optional Cyber-Shot Station Cradle; the DSC –T9 simply snaps into place.

The cradle is fitted with USB for PC and a TV connector and it can be recharged on the cradle via the AC power input. The Sony DSC T9 is no bigger than a credit card and is only 19mm thin; it’s pack with features that will ensure you can point-and-shot, take great pictures and then share them with everyone with the unique slideshow feature on the camera’s LCD screen.
